supremely nerdy solution!
While I was reading sophiesunset’s comment on my last photo, my glasses fell apart. Duct tape on its own is so so. But then I had a brain wave. Duct taping a small, curiously strong magnet (which I happen to have in my studio) on either side ought to work better. And indeed it does.
This fix should last till I get back to SF this week to get a replacement pair. But the solution has made me so satisfying, I may decide to just keep wearing these.
The whole day is suddenly so satisfying. They should build glasses like this in the first place.
