DiFi has more backbone than Boxer. Proof on video.
Please excuse this break from comedy for a straight-ahead, er, direct thougt:
Good for you Dianne Feinstein. I never thought I’d be saying that. Maybe she is remembering how she became mayor of San Francisco?
She is the first major politician to cut a video to oppose Prop 8. At the last hour, but she did it nonetheless.
Barbara Boxer, you have benefitted from the work of many gay and lesbian Californians. When Newsom began the marriages you criticized him. Now that discrimination could be written into the Constitution, where are you?
Actually, the No on 8 campaign wanted DiFi over Boxer. Boxer has appeared at several events to oppose Prop 8.

Boxer supports marriage equality, and has always been a leader. As for DiFi, she tossed Gavin Newsom under the bus for the 2004 weddings.

It’s nice that DiFi is helping us out. I’m really appreciative. But let’s give credit to great leaders like Boxer for their dedication as well.
